Painting

I recently picked up painting and Im kind of in an inbetween of a side hobby and something I really want to improve in. I think this summer will treat me quite well. Especially with the Orgeon trip coming up. As of now I'm specializing in acrylic paint but Id be interested in dabbling with water color. I usually get most of my work done in school, or hour to hour and a half long sessions painting in the garage with my little sister. Though its a little less focused as we have a movie or anime playing in the background

Photography

In the last few months, I've really taken a liking to photography and everything that comes with it. My Dad gifted me his old film camera from college and I've been doing the vast majority of my work through it. I also enjoy taking pictures that I can then dranscribe into a painting so its really fun to almost dual wield the two creative outlets.

Writing:

After this year especially I pride myslef in a lot of creative writing I've done. My english teacher has absolutely helped me improve and I've made so much work Im very proud of. I usually base my writing off of little moments throughout my day and I find myslef thinking of lines as I'm going about random tasks. It really doesn't matter whats happening, I'll just be thinking of how I can describe a run, or a crowd, or a glass of water in really colorful and abstract ways. I love the whole process quite a bit and as you can see with this project, I enjoy journaling as well.
